 Quick Report. Bluegill & Crappie!

The river Crappie and Bluegill bite is good. Spawn is over for the crappie but it is in full mode for the Bluegill. Crappie are in 8 to 12 feet of water by brush piles and in dock slips. Jigs Chartreuse/Black and Chartreuse Pink are getting good results. Bluegill are on nest in 6 to 8 feet of water by or in grass beds. Gulp Alive Leaches on a drop shot are nailing them. Caught good numbers of both this week. Most were released but some were kept for the dinner table. Good times as always while fishing.

Nice post Curtis. Yes Sir the Bluegill/Sunfish are in spawn mode. Getting nice numbers of Bluegill and Redear in 4 to 6 feet of water in grass beds.

Nice report...still looking forward to that pic of YOU holding a fish Don't hold your breath. I am going to start calling his posse the "Ghost Riders"!  Side Note: I have met Curtis years ago and see him often at the Academy close to where I live. Nice guy. I asked him about pictures and he told me he is not the picture type. I am surprised he is posting pictures at all. For each their own. He is a good guy.

Vogey: If Dunlap was still a lake, you would have seen me holding plenty of fish. We would have also met up and I am sure would have spent a few minutes exchanging fishing information while on the water. As for the pictures, I love the "Ghost Riders" title.
