Getting the wife a sot kayak this weekend. She has a sit in now but is not a fan of fishing out of it. We are looking at the Vibe Skipjack 90, Lifetime Tioga and a Pelican challenger. I have the pelican challenger and I'm happy with it I'm just not a fan of the molded foot rest. I've never used the other 2 and was looking for opinions. Thank yall

My daughter (just turned 18) has a Lifetime Tahoma (looks just like the Tioga, but different color). It is very stable and easy for her to paddle around. She doesn't fish, so I can't comment on that. But I imagine it will work well.

Can't go wrong with the Vibe. Has excellent ratings on all the sites. Best of luck finding one as everywhere I have seen they are out of stock. I assume your budget is $400 or less?

The Pelican Sentinel looks like a sharp fishing platform.

You have to learn to buy kayaks for the rest of your family... get the one you would like to use when wifey can't go! Pink isn't the one! roflmao

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Definitely a good lay out. She's dead set on having a hatch close to her. I just traded a jon boat for a FS10t Acsend last night. She tried it out tonight and liked it so we will see lol
