Love this little lake but I can’t catch a keeper to save my life. Caught 63 last week and 71 today. Out of those 134 crappie only 10 keepers. What gives?

Growth stunted crappie from Lake W'ford are the norm. No-one can explain it . The ratio of fish caught to keepers is about 10%. We have always had better luck with keepers when using shad from the bubbles and not minnows ! In addition, moving with the bait on the graph outproduced spot lock measurably .
