11 + is leading as of the noon hr.
had an over brought in while I was weighing my dink that went 8+.
fri. sucked the big fork suck due to weather, today it broke loose early but as soon as it got to be about 0900 the bite just stopped.
I boated 5 slots between 5 and probably 7+ on topwater, just couldn't find the over.
shad are being run up on shallow points on main lake early and the big girls are gorging, had 3 guys tell me they saw fish still on beds and one was going back to see if he could catch his.

Looks like the fisherman are going to get wet tomorrow. I’ve heard the fish don’t care.

Keep us posted Hop. sunday sucked bad for me and boating fish, lost 3 unders at the boat that would have got a check. found the shad on the bank again and they were feeding on top but the dam wind wouldn't let ya fish a spook worth a dam. had one that was either a big slot or an over get off at the boat, bent to get the net and accidentally dipped the rod, slack in line and no more fish.  I did catch one that went about 3# and got it in the boat, 16 1/4" had to pull out early sat. due to starter on the mercury finally going out, bendix problems. was on north end of west fork fishing docks, pulled cowl and after about 4-5 mins. of beating on it with pliers finally got it to start and back to the trailer I went. had to dq myself for no life jacket while on plane, got in a hurry and flat forgot it wasn't on for about a mile. had new starter at the trailer so went and swapped them out. sunday the boat ran perfect but couldn't boat a dam fish, go figure. lol wore my old butt out.
