Can the power pole tilt brackets from hydrilla gear be tilted down if you are on the water?

From my understanding they can but it's manual. just not sure why anyone needs a tilt bracket for a PP.

One of the reasons I don't run PP is that I fish too may places that they'd hang up on overhanging limbs, vines, etc.

I have had them on my boat for the past 2 years with 10' blades. They are rock solid. I don’t think it’s realistic to tilt them when on the boat. You would have to have your head underwater with a hammer to push the pins in to enable the tilt.

I can lower mine below the engine and not effect overall length. I have to lower mine to get into the garage, and far enough back to be out from under my lifted garage door before I can raise them again.
I guess if you park diagonally in a garage it could be an issue.
