I had a toll tag on my jeep that I traded in five years ago. Guess how long I’ve been trying to get them to stop drafting my account? They draft $40 at a time , then when the account gets low from their processing fees, they charge me a late fee, then draft my account for $40 to cover it. I finally had my bank cancel their drafts...now it’s letters every few weeks. I’ll NEVER pay them. It ain’t gonna happen. It’s my stubborn [censored] way. I will let them send me letters for the rest of my life. Not a dime will I ever send to them.

What they are doing is fraud, and when they put a stamp on it and mailed it to you, it became a federal felony.

I know this because I watched “The Firm”

Would take just a few min online to delete that vehicle and tag from your account. As for not paying you may find yourself on a collections report.

This is why you take the plates and registration off anything you sell or trade.

I travel to Oklahoma more regularly than I really care to admit, my Texas Toll Tag is "supposed" to work in Oklahoma. I have a box of mailings from Oklahoma with MY truck and MY license plate that I have no doubt I was driving, I have tried calling and telling those waterheads to look closer at the picture and you can clearly see my Texas Toll Tag. Their response is usually " our machine must not pick it up, now if you will remit payment.." That's usually when I hang up. If I ever get pulled over in Oklahoma I might get deported. bang

More taxation without representation.

They have renamed every 4 lane road in Houston a Toll Road.

When your driving an Enterprise rental car they charge you an extra $20.00 just for sending you a bill.

I was about to dispute one when I realized it was my kayak trailer and it hadn't been added to my car tag registration.

I had several employees at the main NTTA office in Plano try to tell me that there was a scale in the road at each lane that weighs each vehicle and that's how they know if you're towing a trailer.

I told them I could haul 1000 lbs of cargo in my truck bed with no trailer and be heavier overall than if I had an empty bed and an empty trailer, and how would the "scale" resolve that? They didn't know, all they knew was that there was a magic scale in the road.

I have had the same situation and was easily resolved with one phone call. I think their CS is decent. I have toll tags on all my vehicles and will gladly take the tollway to stay as far away from what is on the other roads. I hate slow traffic or high speed traffic and avoiding it is well worth the cost IMO

Not again! Common sense, logic, and accepting responsibility to resolve your own problems instead of try to blaming others for your lack of skills and knowledge. I hate when you people show up to a good gripe session.
