Went into a Walmart today at 635 and Mac Arthur at Irving Valley Ranch border.
Two self check out centers and about 8 long self check for bigger loads.
Could not believe it. The store was 100 per cent self check.
No cashier check outs at all.
Just half a dozen employees watching your every move

Get used to it.

Started to see this about 3 weeks ago.
The only thing I don’t like about is that you need an employee for store clearance to buy spray paint, acetone, and similar items.

Raise your hand and wait for clearance. . . . Carry on . . . .

I hate that place. Always long lines and no checkers. Quit going at least 5 years ago.

Good riddance. Maybe now I can get home without my produce underneath my canned goods.

Fight for 15.

If I'm going to do my own check out, there should be a discount,..15-20% would be fine..

if there are no cashiers,...just park the cart and leave, I've done that before.

Walmart sucks. It’s like walking into a time warp weirdo zone.

The WalMart Neighborhood Market here in Nac went cashier less about 6 months ago. The Supercenter here is headed in that direction, 15 self checks and 4 or 5 cashiers. Walmart is just getting a head start.

I don't even buy food there much anymore, I do grab nattyz and a few other random things though, I like checking myself out.
