I probably have 40+ caps currently. Some free, some bought. $30 is the most I ever gave for a cap. Boston Red Sox cap @ Fenway. I do wash some, but most times they run the new cap, out to eat, gonna keep it nice, to the ok kicking about fish cap, then mow the yard, work outside, then work on cars, get greasy. and finally in the trash.

I prefer a good fitted cap, but most time wear a snap back.

I rarely pay for one. wear them all the time if I'm not working.

I've got a few. Paid for 2 of those, the other 4 i got free. I like those Richardson 112 caps.

I prefer the mesh ones with snap backs.

Was in the habit of buying a New Era cap every year for the Astros since I like a deeper cap for my big head but lately I have been wearing much cheaper ball caps that are free or cheap.

BTW, caps are handed down from every day to fishing to yard work to the trash.

Have quite the collection of major league team caps (and a few minor league teams) from my days coaching youth baseball. Also have several gifted to me from my kids that promote their schools or employers. Can't recall when I ever purchased a cap. Did buy a couple fishing hats with good brims for sun protection.

I have a couple of my favorite sports teams that I spent $20 or less on. Cowboys hats are a different deal, anyone else rocking a real cowboy hat? Seems like I see fewer and fewer of those all the time.
