Let’s say you are not feeling well, but you are going 80MPH in heavy traffic. Do you try and roll down the window, just barf while looking straight or go for the map holder in the door? If you barf while looking straight ahead, you are probably going to miss your next meeting, out the window is just gross and will draw attention to you and if you hit the map holder, I can’t see how you would ever make the car not smell like barf for about two weeks.

I have kids. These are in the back of every seat pocket.

Puking is easy. Taking a poo can be a challenge

You man up and swallow it back down. Take a dump in a public restroom and leave the stall door open. Use a hot pin to release the pressure on a subungual hematoma through the nail. The trifecta of raw manliness.

The last time I threw up in a car was in the early 90's. It was at night. I rolled down the window.

I was driving back to campus one day and on my way to the staff parking lot, a young lady in the car ahead of mine opened the driver's side door, leaned out and puked. We were only going about 5 to 10 mph, so not sure how one would do that at 80 mph, but YOLO.

From experience

When I was in college, my buddy and I went out one night during Christmas break. We were taking a cab back to my parents’ house and he started to feel queasy. Cab driver couldn’t pull over but was adamant about my friend not puking in his cab. Said there would be a $150 cleaning fee on top of the cab fair.

The driver had a red solo cup full of water in his cup holder. I said we needed it and quickly. He dumps it out the window, I hand it to my buddy just as it was coming up, and he proceeded to puke so much that it overflowed the cup and went in his lap. Driver freaks out, pulls over and gets out of the car. He sits on the hood with his knees pulled up to his chest and starts rocking back and forth. About 30 seconds later, he starts puking all over the place. So I’m sitting in the cab alone while my buddy, who is hammered, is violently throwing up by the trunk of the cab and the cab driver is violently throwing up at the hood of the cab. This was all about a mile from my parents’ house.

$200 cab ride (luckily I had a lot of cash on me).

I drove 6 miles with my door open once....Puking the whole way.

I had some "friends" pour me into my truck one night. They had to reach over and start the truck for me. I put it in gear, took off. They tried to follow me. Said I was doing 75mph down 110 between GS and Van. Driver door wide open me calling for Ralph and his Buick. They gave up chase cause the just knew I was going to crash and die. To this day I cannot hardly stand the smell of Southern Comfort.

This is one of those situations where I would try and teach someone a lesson about unintended consequences. If he was going to charge me $150 flat rate cleaning fee for puking in his cab, I would make sure I got my money’s worth.

I had a friend that held his hands over his mouth, but the pressure was so intense. He puked out of his nose into my friends vents.

I sloe gin puked in my bed in high school one time and THEN tried crawling to the bathroom. I was laying in the doorway of my bedroom and my mom comes out of her room and saw me and my bed and thought someone had stabbed me and I was bleeding to death. Sloe gin is even more red when it comes back up.

Not sure about the best way but one of the worst was attempting to puke out the T top of a 1978 Trans AM at 70 mph. Don't ask me how I know.

Not driving a car but I'll throw this in. Back around '96 me and a buddy heard about the great Guinness toast being held at the flying saucer in funkytown, so we head downtown. If I remember correctly you had to drink 12 pints and you got a plaque with your name and whatnot. We accomplished that goal but almost immediately after taking his last chug he said, man I gotta get out of here, made it outside to the sidewalk and he starts hurling, I didn't watch but the sound made me start to heave, managed to hold it together and hailed a cab, the driver took one look and cursed me and hauled it on outta there. I stumbled around until I found a pay phone called some chicks over in Northside to come get us, which they did but cursed us the whole ride back to their place, we didn't score any tail that night. Good times

When my wife had morning sickness I would too. She would puke and it would make me puke, which would make her puke, which would make me puke again. Plus she got fat.

I always carry a small first aid kit with a few essentials on my SUV. In a few necessary situations, it has helped me alot.
I use Small First Aid Kit by Surviveware. This first aid kit’s contents are rather basic. It covers the standard range of emergencies that is expected of such kits However, it still includes a good range of items, shears and tweezers, a blanket, and even something as non-standard as a splinter probe.

I usually have a big qt cup I can use in emergencies

In a hat, then go home and throw it the dishwasher.
