Jaguars planning to sign him to fill the TE spot. If it’s true I like the move.

A little late for the young man. He could have switched to TE after college and had a full career in the NFL.

He would always have a spot on my team. I don’t think TE is a great position for him.
Think he could be a top level strong safety, holder for field goals, and wildcat QB.

Hopefully the press will get tired of him after a couple weeks and give him a rest.

I don't like the deal at all. Waste a spot on a 34 year old that has been out of league for years, never played the position and will be a distraction. That's Meyers buddy and that's all this is about, not winning football games. You gonna tell me that of all the TE floating around they couldn't find one better to slap on the roster..... Meyer wont be around very long if this is the kinda stuff he is gonna do.

Is he gonna kneel? Lotta people don't like him because of his kneeling.

I don’t like this signing. He is blocking younger real tight ends. He is 34, hasn’t played in 6 years, and has never played TE. I doubt he needs the money, but he undoubtably needs the attention.

He was a real good college qb, one of the better competitors of all time. All the side show aside he didnt have an NFL skill set. He isnt the first and he wont be the last that dont make that leap cause NFL is a different game. I appreciate the fact that he still wants to compete at something, maybe he should play golf with Romo and get some tips on being a broadcaster. That would be a better use of his time.

He's a good dude, I hope it works out for both him and the team.

He's seems to have good leadership skills and is a winner. Not to mention he's a physical specimen.

Plus he will sell a some jersey's

He was not really a good college quarterback. He was an exceptional college athlete. Should have been a half back, except that he was such a good athlete it seemed prudent to put him under center where he could touch the ball every play. He was a generational half back that could also throw the ball. His athleticism made him a good college level qb, but actually did him a disservice when he stepped up to the show.

Sheer athleticism can still stand out at the collegiate level, but it gets overshadowed at the pro level.

It won't take long to see if he still has something left in the tank. Until then he will be a good sideshow for Meyers and the Jaguars, a team that could use some additional press.
