Those are the 2 reasons to get the vaccines. You get the vaccine, then you are less likely to have to go to the hospital or the morgue.

In the county I am in, the majority of the new cases and hospitalizations are younger people due to the new variants. We have a long way to go before Covid 19 is a thing of the past.

They are not 100% and don't mean you can just go buck wild (not saying that's what you did) after you get them. I just got my second pfizer last week and am still going to take precautions. I feel like I will be ok if I got it but I have a high risk wife and a 1 year old so I don't want to take chances with them.

Foolish? Why would you say it was foolish? It could have been the very thing that kept you from being 6 ft under right now....

The flu and common cold, as well as pneumonia are still a thing too.

Has anyone had the flu since March of 2020?

If scared, Then you are right where you are suppose to be. I've been around too many people that shouldn't be here if they got it And they're still here. Ol Montgomery Gentry sang a song that fits this...."you believe what you believe and I'll believe what I believe"...to the OP....You'll be fine, stay active.

a positive test may not mean jack.
my MIL tested positive twice, never had the slightest symptom.
my nephew's wife was never sick and has antibodies.

just live your life.

It’s definitely a thing. My cousin lost her 32 year old husband to it in February after 2 months in ICU. So keep going mask less and without the vaccine.

Have another buddy that was admittedly stubborn as well. Didn’t do any prevention and lived as he wanted. He contracted Covid and passed on the 28th of April.

The vaccine would eradicate it if people weren’t so stubborn, and being ANTI-VAX wasn’t cool to so many.

They are safe and effective, so I didn’t hesitate when my county announced vaccines were available for anyone that wanted it.
