To talk to anyone who has passed, who would it be?
For me it would be my great grandma Jessie Boles. Born in 1893 she came to Oklahoma in a wagon. She was the most loving moral person I've ever known. I was fortunate to spend many weekends with her in my youth. RIP nanny!

My dad, he’s been gone since I was 19. He died May 12 1995 in a automobile accident. It was Saturday, the day before Mother’s Day. It’s been my mind a lot here lately.

Probably my Granny (Mom's mom)...I never got to say goodbye. She died on 4/30/95.
My sisters and I took Mom to Heim BBQ on White Settlement Rd today for lunch. Mom wanted to go see her parents' grave after since it was a couple of miles up the road, so we did that. We tried to find her great-grandfather's grave, but it appears he doesn't have a marker, so I was just able to find the general area. Greenwood was PACKED today with visitors and even one funeral. As we were leaving, we saw two young men that appeared to be in their late teens cleaning off their mom's grave...so sad.

Sadly, not my Mom who passed in 2001 to lung cancer, but I'd _really_ like to chat with my Father. He passed on Christmas Eve 1953 (I was 5) while he was assembling a 2-wheeler for me for Christmas. He was in the basement of our house in Yankeeland (Long Island N.Y.) and when my Mom called down to him he didn't answer.
I'm sure the screams were heard throughout the neighborhood - she never told me the details of finding him slumped over the bike (unresponsive).
As stated, I was 5yo at the time so the entire experience is a blur (at best) in my memory.
I'd really just like to tell him . . . . . .

My father, we were just beginning to reconnect after about 15 years of strained relations when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed. I really would have like to send some time together as father and son.
