Still catching crappie and Bluegill. Got to fish twice this past week. Fished with buddies Jeff and Steve. Found crappie on marked brush piles in 12 to 15 feet of water. Also picked up Bluegill on nest in about 6 feet of water. Crappie were caught on jigs, Chartreuse/Pink and Chartreuse/Black in color. Bluegill were caught on Gulp Alive Leaches Black in color, using a drop shot method. As always. Good job guys. I also love the name. " The Laker Gang"! Side Note: Any of your brush piles get washed away from the past storms? Got lucky. The super good ones are OK. Had a couple of the less productive get washed down. River is up.
