Went to Fayette today to catch some gills. Wasn't disappointed. Bite wasn't that great late morning when I got there, but things turned around after lunch. Found a spot (Hope it wasn't Vogey's) that I stayed on for over an hour. Only a hand full of times the line came back to the boat without a fish. So much fun I can't wait to go back.
Kept half a dozen to eat and the rest went back in to play another day.

Nice post. Fayette is one great Bluegill/Sunfish lake.  Side Note: Steve aka Vogey has most of those Bluegill named!

I did get a picture of the few I kept and sent to my fishing buddy who unfortunately couldn't go with me yesterday. I guess I need to get one of those go pro cameras.

Started lake fishing about 15 months ago after building out my boat. My brother in law (Robert) got me hooked on gill fishing and now I try to get out once a week.
