Have a buddy headed up there Monday. He said he’s bought bait from Locals in the past but hasn’t been in 5 years. Would anyone know someone up there that sells live gizzards?

I would call the guides up there. You can catch it at the s$itt hole on the Arkansas river. Not sure I would remember how to find it. We used to catch it at Write Pattmen in Texarkana and haul it over. I think that Arkansas has laws against hauling bait across state lines now. I would check. A redfin waked shallow early and late would be a good way to catch a striper in Arkansas right now.

Bait laws of Arkansas prevent a normal weekend angler from transporting live bait. Historically, the Arkansas River was used with great success. Unfortunately those times are over with now. I tried to find a certified bait dealer up there two years ago and had no luck.
