Has anyone seen the new Masons Sonar Chip? What do y’all think, worth 150 bucks or not. I’m sure this is going to piss some people off if it really has all the brush piles on it.

I haven't heard of anyone with it but I see a couple of my friends asking about it on Facebook.

I'll see if either of them have used it.

I know one guy inquired how many waypoints are on there and he responded back 100...

You can make 100 waypoints on brushpiles alone if you actually go look/graph for a day and feel better that you found them yourselves. 100 waypoints isn't really very many if he has flats, creeks, humps and a bunch of other basic contour features marked to fill up waypoints as well.

One thing I know is there are a few territorial crappie guides that are going to be livid.

Yea I don’t blame em, I don’t care about that chip but I would like to have a better navigation chip for Rayburn than the one I have.

There are a couple of them that I have heard get down right nasty if you even get close to one of "Their" holes!

There are thousands of piles in rayburn. What makes the ones he found special? Are they a certain size? Like Clark said, you'd could find a 100+ in 1 day easily. 1 in 20 have decent fish..... maybe

If hes get going 150 for 100 waypoints the info in my graph is worth 20k lol. Clark must be sitting on a retirement package in his graphs

I do have Lance Vicks but it basically has track lines main lake and not much else.

Bobby Feazel and Tommy Martin did something similar years ago for Toledo and Rayburn. Bobby made a trail chip for every lane on toledo including unmarking logging roads. They had bridges and every creek channel on Rayburn mapped. They were very detailed.

If you are talking about the "Pink Lines" that's not boat lanes. Run those on Fork or TWok and you're looking for trouble in all the right places. They are general guidance on major creeks.

Put that money towards Clark's Class and you will get alot better bang for your buck.
