Now that we have a few baseball posts here, I was looking at the Stro's and Yanks game till I turned it off. A while back I got wind of the Yanks grooming standards. As far as I am aware of, NO facial hair at all. Got to look at their hair again to see if any has hippy looking standards. Then I'm looking at some of the Stro's with beards and this LONG hair carp. Personally I think it looks like chit. You? Another pet peeve is the big gold necklaces that some wear. Is this a "Look at what I can afford thing"? When in the public eye like these guys are, I think some need to get cleaned up. End rant..

I never realized that facial hair or long hair made a difference in job performance. Weird how the 4 dudes at my work with long hair are the best employees, and the buzz cuts are practically worthless. But hey, appearance is all that matters.

With all the lazy people sponging off the government. The sign we have doesn't bring applicants in. I counted a dozen help wanted signs along the 4 mile stretch of road that I drive daily. People don't want to work. They should be happy is anyone applies.

Do you have the chest hair to support that look? Did all the hair from your head migrate to your chest? Can you afford the medallions to complete the look?

If a person is clean and doesn't smell like overripe poo sitting on the inside of a smoker's F150 on a 120 degree day in the bayous of Louisiana, then I say give them a chance to do the job; but that's just me.

My chest hair is awesome. I've been using products recommended in the shampoo thread. I can't afford a real medallion unless Rrrrandy hooks me up with a coin. But I can get a nice looking one for cheap at Party City.

So I tucked my hair up under my hat, and went in to ask them why....
