I for one would like to talk more about the olds dying.
Once they are gone, will that stupid law about not being allowed to buy beer before noon on Sunday go away? If so, I’m all for the olds dying. Sorry, both Bobs. You can thank the bible thumpers for that. I do. I tell my mom all the time that it’s people like her who have ruined Texas and keep us from being able to have fun. She gets mad when I tell her all the blue hairs need to hurry up and croak so I can buy a 12 pack on Sunday morning while headed to the boat ramp.

I laughed the 1st time I went to Fork the guy at the store said it was a dry town. But you drive 6 min Down the road and get it. So stupid.

I laughed the 1st time I went to Fork the guy at the store said it was a dry town. But you drive 6 min Down the road and get it. So stupid. in Azle, there was a grocery store that was dry, but had a liquor store in the parking lot. the county line ran right between the two.

The discussion about guns in cars prevalent in this thread are wasted digital space. It has been since I was a yute totally legal to carry a gun LONG gun in a car, and more importantly it is now legal to carry a gun in your car under the Castle Doctrine. The proper discussion would be the ability to carry a gun in places NOT your car, home, or business. Next,on what planet would a peace officer ask you to hand him a gun as that sounds like a good way to get shot?

It has been since I was a yute totally legal to carry a gun LONG gun in a car, and more importantly it is now legal to carry a gun in your car under the Castle Doctrine. The proper discussion would be the ability to carry a gun in places NOT your car, home, or business. this is exactly correct. never once been an issue.

All they need is your LTC. Think about it, Hop. You get pulled over by some angry police officer, who thinks you're racist because you're white. "I needed to secure his weapon" is all they need to search. Is this not the case?

So if it is truly "constitutional carry" everyone has a right to carry?
Or is it going to be "statutory carry" where there are limitations placed on a person's right to constitutionally carry? And it is up to the legislature to decide on what limitations are acceptable and what limitations are not? Convicted felons do not have the right to carry. They lost it!
