Now it's my dad napping and breathing heavy, and sisters talking to my mom.
Parents both 90, we treasure the time we still have.

Hummers at the feeders
Mockingbirds cussing
Loki ( husky ) howling at the neighbor dogs

Daughters music upstairs, dogs toenails clicking the hardwood floors,wife yelling at dog to stop jumping on her. Owell,off to bed early. Leaving 3am to make a delivery for work 3hrs away then catching probably 50 bass on private farm then riding back. No driving just riding

Hum of the refrigerator. Pretty quiet.

Wife droning on and on with daughter now,

Back home after visiting my parents in Nevada, Tx., just east of Lake Lavon.
I'm at my computer, and right now, I only hear myself typing.

Listened to John Means almost throw a perfect game sans 1 wild pitch. Still got him a no no against the Mariners.

The dishwasher running. And a dog dreaming on the back porch.

6:45 am dog barking about a 1/2 mile away, a frog croaking in the neighbors' pond, a couple of birds, a car or truck just crossed a wooden bridge down the road.
BTW I'm on the front porch watching the sun come up smoking a cigar with a cup of coffee.
