Foot pedal thrust button is working intermittently. It seems random. Anyone have this problem? Or, do you have a solution? Thanks on advance.

Can you use the remote and turn on the motor when the button doesn't work? This would point to a bad switch on the foot pedal. Here is a video which shows how to access it easily, but I would not put any super glue on anything.. just reference the button removal. If you live in DFW call allstar marine and they can get you a switch for replacement. But when it is acting up, try the remote to see if it has the same issue. If the remote has the same peoblem it would mean you have a problem down deeper in the system..

It's probably a proximity/contact issue. Pop the pedal off and use a small screwdriver to lift the magnet just a hair. Was a common problem with the 1st generation.
