From TPW today:
Another Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center - Texas Parks and Wildlife fish delivery today to the North Texas Municipal Water District Bois D' Arc Lake in Fannin county. This delivery was 4,000 young adult Sharelunker Largemouth Bass. The background is a little different from previous stockings, 15 feet of water has found its way in during the last two weeks due to locally heavy rains and transformed the creek into a lake.
Keep in mind, THE LAKE IS NOT OPEN AT THIS TIME. Please do not drive around barricades or gates. For a great view of the lake with the dam in the distance take a drive across the new FM 897 bridge (the dam is to the northeast) The lake is less than 50% filled and has quite a ways to go before filled and open.
