Anything over 60hp is a Honda labeled as a Tohatsu. until last year. last year tohatsu came out with their own 75,80,115 lineup. they are really good engines too. This I did not know. Are they 4 strokes? Heard the did away with the TLDI engine which makes me sad luckily I have one and it will probably out live me. yes, all 4 strokes.. there won't be any more 2 strokes built in the US as production engines. the TLDI was a cool engine. there are a few replacement power heads still available too. the new 75-115 engines from tohatsu are identical engines... similar to how the SHO engines work... just different ecu programming. they even have tuned exhaust. really neat lil engines.

Update:
Took the electric trim motor off today. Took it apart, lots of carbon dust inside. I cleaned it well. Reset the brushes, and put it together. The electric motor works well now, as intended.
The problem now was when I took the electric motor off, I introduced air to the system. I've gone through several cycles of bleed/add, it still has a squeak which wasn't there before. But it working smooth all the way up and down. I figure I'll just bleed/add over the next few trips to the lake and hopefully it's fixed.
I appreciate the help.
