Caught this in about 3 fow while bass fishing. It took me for a ride for a couple minutes. Had to guess its weight at 35-45lbs.

That will take the kinks out of your line! I had that happen to me on Ray Bob. Caught a huge flathead then on the next cast into the same log jam I did catch a 10# largemouth.

Caught one like that (not quite as big, but it was close to 20 lbs) on a spinner bait in the Trinity River from the bank years ago.
