Can't find anything on the web about it but channel 7 out of Tyler saying lake closed for fishing and swimming. Some kind of green slime on the water.

Possible blue green algae. I know they sprayed the heck out of the lake recently and now there is a fish kill.

I saw a post a little bit ago on the FB page Texas Bass Heads with quite a few dead fish and what looked like a dying racoon.

When lakes start to look and fish nice someone thinks they need to spray. Government, it's not broke so lets fix it. Lol

There thinking it’s due to a chemical spill from the tornado recently. Spraying the lake wouldn’t do this kind of kill

Didn’t help. Vegetation filters toxins and competes with algae for nutrients in the water.

Really bad news. We used to get the blue green algae on Lake Mead. Esp near where the treated water came into the Vegas wash. However the lake being so big and deep, there were never fish kills.

But Regan Brown from TPWD is not bad looking... am I wrong?
