Taking my brother out to lunch down there today and am not familiar with the area. I recall hearing of a good burger place but am really open to anything that’s not sushi or Chinese food.

Thanks!

Grease Monkey has a pretty good burger. Haven't been there since the pandemic began so not sure how much they've changed since they used to have a condiment bar where you built your own burger.
Babes chicken is good.
Torchy's Taco
McAlisters has a decent sandwich, is similar to a Jason's Deli
Bone Daddy's isn't bad but mainly go for the scenery.

Papaya Grill for Mexican food. Tipsy Oak is good for burgers/American foods. Cafe Sicilia for Italian. Beirut Cafe for Mediterranean. Pho Pasteur for Vietnamese.
