Leading up to, during and after recent fork pro tourney; kept hearing references to Sabine river feeding into Lake fork.
It does not. just saying.

Isn't the lake built on a tributary of the Sabine? Yes I know not the Sabine itself but a tributary.

It is a "FORK" off the Sabine river......hence, the name lake Fork. It is part of the Sabine River Authority....

The creek that is dammed to form the lake is actually called "Lake Fork Creek". It was called that before the lake was built.
And it is a tributary of the Sabine.

The Sabine River flows out of Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork feeds into it farther down stream
