Despite the fantasy land of alternative facts some people choose to live in....he doesnt usually name the lakes from what ive seen....at least for Ivie he didnt. A select few of the locals/semi locals really blew the lid off that place...maybe youll luck out and get that to happen with this video/place too! roflmao

Id guess its a top fishery in the northeast part of the state just going off his description...it looks great with all that greenery in the background. good luck finding out.

I guess some guys will do just about anything to catch a bass. I taught myself how to fish before YouTube and I’ve never potlicked lakes and spots from YouTube. It’s much more rewarding to go out and locate and catch your own fish. Sometimes it takes a full day or two and sometimes you never find them. I guess that’s the world we live nowadays, people don’t want to put in the time to learn and want everything spoon fed. Good luck potlickers!

Look Mr. S, Im laughing because your post is basically a caricature of the grumpy old man ive been talking about in this thread. I get you dont like youtubers and dont like what they do.

Now with that said, its because you dont know any better...and I dont expect you to get why you dont know better. its clear that you either cant or refuse to make the connections and adjust to the tech heavy times we live in today like every other reasonable human being out there. By this I mean you trying to criticize a person for "potlicking" and doing "just about anything to catch a bass" by watching some free youtube videos that are available to the general public.

You know what watching youtube videos (and pot licking as you put it) on fishing new lakes youve never been to and likely wont get to fish is the old days equivalent to.....bassmaster magazine, Newspaper articles...and probably the hardest to wrap your head around, dock talk and person to person communication. Technology has exponentially raised the ability for person to person communications (social media like facebook, twitter and instagram to be more specific)....and technology has also changed the medium that content is generated away from print media, and one of those new Mediums is Youtube as much as you dislike it.

Look at the fishing industry as a perfect example of this. Go to BASS page.....go all the way to day 1 in their video history and scroll through to now. youll see the huge jump in content BASS has put out in the last couple years. Look at the pro anglers.....before it was just people like wheeler, and the googan squad types youtubing....but in the last year or two almost all the bigger names have a youtube channel and if they arent they are doing themselves a diservice promotion wise....hell iaconelli quit tournament fishing because of the content creation potential from youtube.

So i get that you dont like it....but unless you have never talked to another person about a lake you never fished, never talked to a person about an area you were slaying em at, never read a BASS article, never read a newspaper's fishing report.....I cant take you serious and see your criticisms as hypocritical because you refuse to put things into a proper 2021 modern day context 🤷‍♂️

My name isnt Brock btw.

He’s the densest person that I’ve ever read on a forum. Absolutely nobody cares if he’s a YouTube “star” or a guy from timbucktoo, but ol’ Bock is convinced that we are jealous. roflmao
