I approve of these picks, I think, maybe not, who the hell knows honestly.

Looks like quite a few kids drafted. I wonder if anyone ever keeps track of how many actually make it to year 1, 3, or 5? I would guess you could call 5 yrs in the NFL probably a career.

Wonder what "Red" would have thought about this draft full of character issues? Starting to sound like we're drafting a team to play in the Longest Yard remake.

How many of these guys have been in jail? You want them to draft alter boys or what.

Dumb post

Sorry, I just noticed you were from San Antonio, that explains your level of response. Ha

These guys a football players, many of them have character issues, if you want all alter boys you are going to lose. The NFL is not high school or college football, it is a business, a big time business, its all about the money. As long as they are not murderers, molesters, addicts, I could care less, play ball.

That's right, I want violent men on the field with dark hearts and bad attitudes.

No doubt you are both correct. No reasons for any concerns, let the games begin!

LOL! These guys are a level of freak that we can’t comprehend. They’re mentality is not run of the mill normal. Neither is their physicality. Most are egotistical and arrogant because they’ve always been looked at as great. After a while, their calm, cool, collected goes out da’ window and stays there. Freak takes over!

😎 Dallas Cowboys....eventual Superbowl Champions 😎

I 100% agree I want some mean nasty hard hitting players that want to bring damage when they arrive but there's is still a difference. A player such as a Lawrence Taylor who funnels that anger to help his team, or a uncontrolled Vontaze Burfict, whos actions result in personal foul penalties and suspensions that hurts his team. I'm sure none of what Dallas has drafted is a Vontaze Burfict caliber but Joseph does sounds like he can be a difficult. T.O. was a great receiver but he was also great at tearing a locker down to it's core. On a positive side, T.O. did love his quarterback!

well as long as they are not wanted for a crime let them play. You want the means person possible that can play by the rules. The guys that aren't smart enough to play by the rules are not smart enough for you to win with anyway.

You have the cheerleaders on the sideline for a reason. You don't want them playing on the field, you can't win with them.

Hey Coach, I was wondering about this when I first read it, and I trust you know he said what you quoted that at some point but he is also known as a strict disciplinarian. Here's part of an article when he sent two of his starters home before a big game.

Coach Holtz realized that the disciplinary action taken against the players seriously jeopardized
their chances of winning the game, but he also knew much more was at stake. Teams and individuals
must have discipline if either is to be successful. He was responsible for maintaining the high level
of discipline needed to compete successfully at the national level and, more important, to help young
men to acquire the self-discipline needed to be successful, personally and professionally.

Would you refuse to hire or would you fire an awesome, efficient money making Construction Worker if you found out he snorted coke at parties and had a domestic issue on his record?

GOD is good!

Yes, Too much of a liability. He will trip up sooner or later. It's obvious he doesn't always make wise decisions. What happens when one of those decisions brings damage to you or your company. A companies reputation is hard to build and so easy to damage. Do you really want to knowing employee a coke snorter?
