 Shimano Vanford or Stradic?

I have 4 Shimano Stradic Ci4 reels that I’ve had for many years and are the best spinning reels I’ve used. I heard they replaced it with the Vanford. Is this true and has anyone tried the Vanford and feels it’s just as good as the Stradic?

I have a new Vanford and its awesome. Its not as pretty as the Stradic but as good IMO

I have a new Vanford and its awesome. Its not as pretty as the Stradic but as good IMO Thanks for the input. I guess I will start hunting a few down. Most places are out of stock.

I have changed out my Ci4+ to the new Vanfords.
Incredible reels
Very smooth and lite weight
You will not be disappointed.

Very smooth and lite weight
You will not be disappointed. That Ci4 I bought from you is no slouch. Been meaning to get a Vanford to supplement it but haven't gotten around to it yet.
