 Bohemian in a pontoon ?

I have fished the Bohemian Bass Classic for more than 7 years in my old Cajun that I finally sold last summer . I have fished it with my grandson for the last 3 years also . Now all I have left is my 20 ft. Voyager Fish model pontoon boat which does at least have a live well and a trolling motor on it . I am tempted to use it this year and me and my grandson fish the Bohemian anyway . 1st off . is it legal . and what are your thoughts ?

Go for it! If it’s got a live well to keep your fish alive I’d say that’s all you need. Get your grandson out on the water and y’all make some memories together.

I think a pontoon would be easy to fish on Whitney. You're not getting any younger. Do it while you can.

I fished with my 80 year old father out of a 28 ft pontoon on fork in the 90's. My boat was down so I borrowed a friends pontoon. We had a blast. We had shade, bbq pit and comfortable seats. Dad preferred the pontoon over my boat and we caught a lot of fish. I hope you win the tourney.
