getting to go out with my pops tomorrow and wanted to see what you guys would suggest. smaller body of water, but it is a lake not a pond. good grass and buck brush. there is some REALLY thick grass in about 3 ft then it scatters as it gets deeper. not sure of the current water temps.

Wakebaits and frog on the shallow inside grass line and spinnerbaits and chatterbaits on the deeper outside grass lines.

I looked at the current lake levels and went to the lake with the least new water.

Thursday night fished a small tourney on a lake that was the thickest,‘chocolate milk looking water I’ve seen in a while. Went as far down lake as I could to get to clean water and caught a limit.
