 Is Shimano Vanford same as Stradic?

I have 4 Shimano Stradic Ci4 reels that I’ve had for many years and are the best spinning reels I’ve used. I heard they replaced it with the Vanford. Is this true and has anyone tried the Vanford and feels it’s just as good as the Vanford?

I have a couple of Vanfords, I like them and consider them basically a newer model C14. Pretty sure they have done away with the C14.
