Going down there tomorrow to try the back of the creek. Anyone fish this? Any sandies or crappie back there?

It’s been hit and miss with the weather. I have been doing better at bear creek but caught 10 keepers there Monday afternoon. Pulled one or two off each lay down just going up and down the creek. At the mouth there is a drop that usually holds a few.

I’m going to go to Granbury next week to look for some crappie but bringing the striper gear just in case. Any areas been good lately?

Wish I could help you on this. Haven't put my boat in the water yet. I mainly fish the southern part of the lake, which is typically best in the mid-summer through fall. I bet most fish are still up north, making their way back into the lake from the Brazos up by Tin Top. Some people were saying that the fishing is still good to decent up by Tin Top, and I have seen more anglers in the main lake too.

The fish were jumpin but couldn't catch em! I tried throwing everything except live bait. It looked like they were sandies and yellow bass. Any tips on what lures to try? I saw a few others out there and no one could seem to catch em.
