Our church is having a revival this week, and I took our evangelist Bob Pitman and good friend Gordon Ferguson fishing at Lake Tawakoni yesterday. The lake was a bit choppy, but thanks to good intel from SeaPro Todd, Lenahorse, Filetmaket, and other TFFers, we had a great day. Were out from 8:15 AM to 3 PM and caught 201: 185 white bass (about 1/3 magnums), 12 good yellow bass, and 4 nice drum. The bigger fish were caught in 25 to 29 fow fishing straight down. The technique that worked best (Mepps # 4) was to let it down to the bottom, jiggle it a couple of times with a slight bit of slack in the line, then reel it up medium-slow to medium speed to the top. We caught some near the bottom and some almost at the top. On the graph, we could see fish coming by on the bottom and suspended halfway up. We also caught some fish at Greenville Pump Station in 15 to 19 fow. Most of these were 10 to 12 inches. Also caught some really nice yellow bass there. Here are some pics of the trip: Bob with nice white: Gordon with nice white: Yours truly with white: Bob and Gordon with double: Bob and yours truly with double:

Todd, I put fake pictures of bridges in background instead of puffy clouds.

Gene and Ed, thanks for your intel also. Every bit helps when one fishes a huge lake like Tewakoni.
