Headed there tomorrow with my drift boat and have room for someone if they want to join me. Could use
someone on the oars. PM me if you're interested.

Back from the Juan. I was quite disappointed with the quality of fish. Just couldn't find any bigger fish.
Plenty of smaller trout and a few browns but all in all the big fish are hunkered down. Fishing alone in
a drift boat is, anchor and fish, and could have used another buddy on the oars. Retiring earlier than
your friends has it's downside...they still have jobs and can't ever get away.

Thanks Drift for the info. Our clients have done pretty well over the last couple of weeks. No monsters but averages in 17-18" size. Appreciate the report. It is tough to get good consistent long drifts going solo.

I had no drifts, other than what I created from an anchor position. Still had a great time, weather was perfect. Blew a little
on Saturday afternoon but layed down pretty quick. I even worked some sinking line and stripping a big leach in Texas hole.
I had one strike but missed it. Lot's of that rock algae floating in the water.

We were there two weeks ago. Blew us off the water every day. I agree the fishing was a bit off. Lots of algae as the flows bumped up. Sight fishing was about the only good way to fish in my opinion. I got a few in the 16-21" range, hanging right along the island banks.
