I’m not judging, just asking. Has this moved into “new girlfriend/old girlfriend” phase yet, or is it still in the “my ex had a blouse just like that one” phase? You know, where everything still brings up painful memories of the ex.
The thread topic seemed to indicate “new girlfriend/old girlfriend“ but some of the banter seems very “my ex had a blouse just like that one”. Need pics of said blouse please. ... Dan Feel free to open the bar anytime here

What pray tell, is the BBC?
If it is another forum site I might have fun by joining and then upsetting them.
So, what is it?
Absolutely. I've been banned about 7 times. Just start your thread on bbc with " Trump is the best ", you'll have his attention. Please go for it. You won't last long but You will enjoy the trip. It doesn’t even take that now, he’s , he finally flew the cookoos nest.

If anybody on bass boat central wears cowboy boots, the are Tecovas.
BBC may have lots of good info, but it’s Canadian regulation minded lib ish as it can be. I had no idea they had bass boats in Canada, but based on all the followers on it they must.

I got banned years ago for challenging a claim by someone who was apparently a friend of the ruler. For his "go fast Gambler" he made some wild claim about the increase in hole shot by putting 3 mini-basketballs inside the void of the jackplate (inflated, of course). I did the scientific calculation using the size of the mini-basketball and found it added about 25 pounds of buoyancy, or offset 25# of payload in the boat. The claim was a significant improvement in holeshot and several mph in top speed. That wasn't supported by dropping the equivalent of less than 5 gallons of fuel. It was a bunch of BS huffing that did not pass technical muster, so I called it, and that got me. Prior to that, I got into a discussion with several about PFDs. I had pointed out that the best ones have 30-34# of buoyancy. Some called BS on me for that. Why? They said "there's no way a PFD with only 30 pounds of buoyancy will float a 200 pound man!" Clearly, besides being liberal, some of them lack a few marbles in the box. I knew better than to try explaining the concept of displacement, and just gave up.

I still wear a BBC ankle monitor. Something about a ranger owner being called a lemming in the champ page.

The balls are not about bouyancy they are to stop water from flowing through the jackplate during holeshot, recducing the weight and drag caused by the water. There are plates made for this now. The plates existed then too; I had one on my jackplate. Three large spheres aren't exactly efficient at blocking water flow through there with all the void they leave. Given the forces involved, I don't think the balls would have stayed in there without a bottom plate to keep them from escaping eventually. A shaped block of foam would have made a lot more sense.

I got banned by butt hurt Al more than a few times, and more than a few times someone pointed out to his highness that all I was doing was telling the facts. If anyone wanted to argue facts, that would have been great, but the estrogen charged tribe wouldn't do that, just complain. Here's one that got me KP duty, Lea still has it archived on the champ page. If you wonder what gets you BBC jail, here it is:
What about those Ranger Ads where they cut-away part of the hull and the boat still floats?
Here is the physics behind the cut away hulls, and why they are used with such success in lemming advertisements. Certainly impressive, isn't it? holes cut in a foam filled hull floating like nothing is wrong, right?
Forget the fact that all boats are built today with comparable floatation, let's just look at the holes.
If I took a styrafoam cooler, filled it with water it would sink down to about....here, right? Water in the cooler will hold it down to a certain level, however if I cut a hole in the bottom of the cooler, what happens? Does it sink? No, in fact it raises up, because the trapped water is now allowed to escape, and the cooler pops up to it's normal floatation level. No difference in a hull with floatation in it.
If you took that lemming wagon, left in the plug, NO HOLES, and filled it full of water, it would sink to the gunnels, because the water couldn't escape. That boys and girls is why they cut the holes.
