question on placement of fish finder

I just purchased a 2018 Ranger pontoon. It came with a 5" fishfinder on the console. I am trying to figure out how to place my Humminbird helix 12. The only option I can come up with is to mount it to the aluminum railing right in front of the console. I am concerned about screwing to the console. It is pretty flimsy fiberglass.

It looks like you “might” to be able to use a swivel ball mount on the right side of your console on the fiberglass, right above your control lever.

It looks like you “might” to be able to use a swivel ball mount on the right side of your console on the fiberglass, right above your control lever.
I use this for a garming 93sv, very solid and just above your control lever should work.

Agree with the swivel mount. Got this ram mount for my HB and it’s awesome.
