Spent last weekend at Fayette. Despite having to battle the bad weather on Friday, having a flat on the boat which escalated into getting new tires & then having to go back to get another set due to tire rub (discount tire was at fault due to putting on the wrong size & ended up giving us the tires for 50% off for our troubles, that is why we have been & will always be loyal discount tire customers.) it was a great weekend of fishing & camping. Fish were biting very good on Green Pumpkin & Watermelon Chartreuse worms. Green Pumpkin was better in 8-10' & the watermelon Chartreuse was better in the reeds. We caught around 40-50 per day for Sat. & Sun. Had 6 fish over 5lbs & 10 over 4lbs, the rest were typical Fayette bass. We tried many different colors but they seem to have liked those 2 colors the best. We fished 3 different locations with the same results. I cant wait to see what changes in 2 weeks from now, Maybe Black/Blue, Ballistic Bluegill or Chartreuse Pepper? Well, that is my update on Fayette, hope everyone has as good luck as we did. Tight Lines!
Reality. What a concept!

Good report. Sorry for the tire trouble; but seems you came out on top of the deal. Good people at Discount Tire.

At least you didn’t have to change a hub....twice, along with new tires. Lol.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Thank yall for the positive responses! Yes we did come out on top, had a great weekend fishing with the wife, she usually ends up catching the bigger fish and always wants to stay longer. I guess I am a very lucky man to have a wife that enjoys it as much or more than I do. We will be back out there next Friday.
