Took the yak up to Choke Canyon yesterday and tore them up!!
Slept in a bit and didn't get on the water til about 11am. Decided to try South Shore since I've never fished that end of the lake. 5 casts in and I bust a 5-12 on a chartreuse and black lipless. Caught over a dozen more bass, one nice white bass and had a huge catfish that took the the lipless also and drug me around for a while before coming unbuttoned. Out of the water and headed home by 5:30 with a sore side from rod butts when setting the hook. This is the way days of fishing should all be!! clap
Posting pics of my best 5 bass....
