Lost lower unit blown today on CC. Pre fishing for Champs.
I had put in at log cabin earlier in the morning. About 130 decided to head back in from up North. Wanted to beat the Victory weigh in crowd. Got about to the dam and blaaaaah. Put the ultrex on high and pointed her towards log cabin. I had been going along for about 30 minutes and I come upon a white and silver ranger with 2 fisherman. I asked them if they were in the tournament? They said no and I asked if they could please tow me to log cabin. Without hesitation, they said sure. I asked them at that moment for their emails so I could PayPal them monies for their time and gas. I had no cash on me. They refused. They said they were pre fishing for Champs. They towed me all the way to log cabin ramp. Again I asked them to please let me send them monies. They again refused. I asked their names as they were idling away. They both said their names but my old ears could not make it out over the wind, waves and boat noise. I told them that I hoped they win the upcoming Champs on CC. I would take 2nd. Cannot tell you how grateful I was and am. Thank you again publicly guys. May God return the favor to you and your families.
