This is the Tater Hog Father. The ones I lost were foil covered and more than life like. I have used Tater (Matt) for years and am sute these will swim and catch. My foil ones used to broadcast a bite was coming as two or three gizzard shad would swim with it to the boat. Always felt if the shad think you’re real so will the green ones. *****Found the painted and foil on his site. So all is good.

that builder is supposed to be a wizard! he does balsa cranks that are supposed to be killer too! so prepare your wallet for whats coming! LOL

that builder is supposed to be a wizard! he does balsa cranks that are supposed to be killer too! so prepare your wallet for whats coming! LOL There's an old Let's Talk Fish with Matt Arey & Bryan Thrift with Tater Hog. It's a year or two old, but you might be able to find it on Youtube

Thanks all. Also found Zaldain’s retrieve very interesting. A half turn of the reel will cause the Hog to dart to the left or right. My take is he was walking the dog or at least making it move erratically . Twitching the rod tip will make it dart to the left or right but not moving forward at the same time.
