Livesay still has a 3-10 and 3-13 he can cull. Looks like his game plan is working out

It is from what i read on here. Todays results demonstrate how bad Texas Parks and Wildlife has done in managing that lake. Since the lake is stocked with sharelunkers that means all the fish need to be teeners or that means the sharelunker program isnt working. Im pretty sure thats how genetics work 🤔

RIP Lake Fork again. Im sure these guys are catching the literal last decent sized fish. Poor locals.

It’s stocked with Florida’s, sharealunkers are just Florida’s, no difference.

Edit: it’s been said for days that sat and Sunday would be the best days, due to stable weather.

Catch / Weigh / Release

If this tournament doesn’t convince you that it’s the best way to do it, nothing will.
These egg carrying girls are going right back where they were found and without the delayed mortality of livewell and weigh ins.

I really dont understand why bass hasnt made the jump for the elites. It's the best thing to do. I wonder how the BPT defects would feel about 5 fish...but with the catch, weigh, release format. Figure they been through both and have a experienced opinion...cuz from my outside perspective, BASS needs to be doing this every tournament.

Im no hippie and not the type to [censored] on someone cuz I dont necessarily agree with it...but ive never been the biggest fan of tourney fishing, at least on my home lake, since its usually during the spawn. And im not smart enough to draw scientific conclusions on wether tourney fishing is bad for spawing bass (ive heard studies both ways)....but I think its safe to say its less than ideal to pull one off a bed and drive her to weigh in. I really wish BASS makes the jump soon 🤞

The Fork homers in this thread are ridiculous, this lake is nothing like it used to be, hold this event 25 years ago and you would have winning weights north of 200lbs

Everything is relative sir. I dont think the fishing anywhere is like it was 25 years ago...but for Lake Fork consistently remaining able to do what we are seeing today, despite the massive amounts of fishing pressure unheard of and likely even unimaginable 25 years ago....id say maybe the ridiculousness might be justified 🤷‍♂️

this was fun as hell to watch!!! I wish that lake wasnt so far from me

I'm betting Zaldain reconsiders his choice of line after that break-off. Heatbreaking to watch that.
