Was out last weekend and noticed my TM started to squeak as it was sitting idle. This was usually while soft little waves barely rocked boat from side to side. Not a big deal nut it drove me nuts, LOL!!!
I tried to adjust the collar a little bit- no change...I slid TM down a little...no change?
Any suggestions from anyone that might have had similar issues?

Is it while using spot lock and the head is moving slightly back and forth? The collar to raise and lower the TM depth will occasionally squeak on mine in light winds because the head rocks back and forth like it is confused with what to do in calm water. I run some grease between the collar and the mount to release some of the tension squeaks. Just put a little on my finger and run it around the collar bottom, I dont pile it on.

Otherwise, check your mount bolts to make sure your mount is wobbly. And finally, if you have ever seen a half circle piece of black plastic on your deck with no idea where it came from, that is from the mount hinge and they occasionally break. It makes the hinge a little loose and you will notice your TM isnt hitting the same spot on your deck when stored. Its a cheap fix (free if still under warranty), but I have never done it myself - Sartin Marine and Texas Trolling Motors, both around Fork, are where I have taken mine.
