On the recommendation of a friend started watching Season 1 of True Detective starring M. McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Doesn't make me want to go to the backwaters of La. for sure.

I have an opinion here, but don't want to ruin it for you. Post a review after you watch season 1.

I will say that Woody and McConaughey are great to watch together.

Two guys that I think are both highly underrated as pure acting talents.

The general opinion is Season 1 was really good. Everyone looked forward to Season 2 but it was a letdown.

Its been on my "to watch" list for some time but the content keeps me from watching it while the kids are awake,

Season 1 is probably the best series I've ever watched.

Both actors really study and get into their characters. Not sure which is the best but they compliment each other. Couple of pretty hot sex scenes.

We’ve watched all seasons and we like seasons 1 and 3.

I appreciate exuberance as much as the next guy, but let’s not get carried away. On the list I started for this topic, I’m going to write you down as having liked it a lot.

Is that the show where that hot chick with the weird name gets nekked?

Many of us have been waiting patiently for Season 4 to arrive, but who knows?

All 3 seasons are good, but most think 1 is the best.

I liked them all equally, even Season 2 which was very confusing.

Many don't believe the seasons are connected, or the characters, but I do, and that's for one reason.

Addendum: Rick Springfield, yep, that guy, was "unrecognizable" in season 2, but he was great.
He sure can take a "sissy beating"!
