Planning to hit up Tawakoni on Sunday. It appears that the sandies are in the lake based off the guide reports I’ve seen. Are people catching stripers and hybrids out there at all?
Also, i fish Whitney quite a bit and use A rigs the successfully, but at Twak, I haven’t experienced as much success. Can anyone else speak to having a similar experience with different lakes? Any idea why or suggestions?

Ran from 2 mile down to holiday this afternoon. Only real bite came late underneath balls of shad off a point. Hoping for a little more action next weekend! Really nice evening!

I store my boat at twok now and buddies gave me a Twok Todd nickname. Lol. My recent trips pics below including yesterday (Sunday 2 to 745pm). Been lucky and caught a few good hybrids on each trip and all have been on ARigs. ChampionFish and I were catching many doubles and tripple magnums on ARigs yesterday when they were schooling at 2 Mile along with 6 other boats, with happy little kids and big kiddod as well. Lol ARig in schooling fish has a higher chance of catching drag pullers. Water temp is still in the mid 60s, i drifted near the dam and snagged a few bigguns on each trip, drifting with the wind on ledges going from 28 to 45ft. More windier the better. Thump or splash. I been marking good concentration of fish still in the deep 25+fow, very few shallower. Slab with flies, mepps will catch these. God luck! ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/04/full-11240-94133-incollage_20210426_163004230.jpg)

Worked the bridge and got nothin so far. Heading south working toward the dam. Not getting them to bite under the big groups of shad like last week!
