OP Bruce Allen TFF Team Angler Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 3,681 Lake Fork, Texas	Even though the BASS Elites had their first day going on with their 110 anglers it really didn't seem that crowded. The bass are still spawning in some areas. Yes the wind was brisk and for late April it certainly was cool. But the bass were biting for us, just not as well as they were for the pro anglers. All fish 10" and up are keepers. Only the best 5 count. Boaters First Place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 5 bass for 21.65 LB with a 5.49 LB lunker.. Second Place went to Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 6 bass for 15.46 LB with a 3.31 LB Lunker. Third Place went to Jack White of Farmers Branch to with 6 bass for 15.25 LB. with a 3.62 LB Lunker Fourth Place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork 6 bass for 12.60 LB. with a 3.46 LB Lunker Fifth Place went to Charlie Abresch of Hawkins with 7 bass for11.34 LB with a 4.31 LB lunker 7th Place Again Terry Thompson of Sulphur Springs with the 5.94 LB boater lunker Co-Anglers First Place went to Chris Caputo, guest, with 3 bass for 9.76 with the co-angler lunker of 5.19 LB. Second Place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 4 bass for 6.14 LB with a 1.87 LB lunker.. Third Place went to Rick Wright of Rowlett with 3 bass for 5.31 LB. with the lunker of 2.36 LB. Fourth Place went to Gary Gilmore of Ennis with 3 bass for 3.35 LB. with a 1.21 LB lunker. Fifth Place went to John Berech of Garland with 2 bass for 2.16 LB with a 1.29 LB lunker. We caught 53 keepers today with 2 anglers skunking. The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 54+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues. Even though we are practicing social distancing and wearing masks, we have about 20 sitting out from Covid exposure, Right now we are looking for more co-anglers.
