Can’t even get close to running the Pecos now.
I know a guy that has made that run a lot when it is possible and he has lost 4 lower units. And that was when conditions were the best.
It is a harrowing run for sure.

Thanks for the help. Another thing I would like to check out are the Indian paintings on the cliffs. Could somebody point me in the right direction to see those? Or if it’s even possible right now. Thanks again

Unless you have a jet boat you can't get up there right now, and it's possible you would need an airboat. There is a little dock there but the lake it too low to get up there and it can't be accessed by land.

I wouldn't attempt it... what channel there was between Zuberbuler bend and the narrows has silted in.

Ok thanks for the information. I’ll just stick to fishing this time! I’ll report back next week on how the trip was.

damn...gotta full send and no half sends I guess!

I was on plane in about 1 foot of water once.....by accident though! I like beating up my tracker....but im not sure id want to put it through that. 10 inches is nuts...no wonder it looked so fun! LOL

Don't think GPS will do you any good running in that skinny of water.

I bet. Just wondering how good the area is mapped and if maybe those areas look like sharp thin drops on the map....but i had no idea that was inches deep!!! I figured he was at least in a couple feet to be running a glass rig with a regular outboard....pretty epic to be doing that in inches of water! Im sure his insurance adjuster loved watching that LOL

Oh yea, im out on that one for sure! If theres anything out there that can damage a boat...well im basically like a heat seeking missile finding those spots!!! Nuts he was running that shallow in a rig like his!
