I couldn't expect another 100 fish day like my partner and I had over a week ago, but if you don't try you don't catch.
This day I went by myself to the area we slammed crappie, sunfish, yellow and white perch and a gold shiner. No go! The depth we caught fish was 3' or less so I stayed with that depth hoping to find fish nearby to where we caught fish after fish. This cove was just outside the area we did well:
In order to stay at mid-depth with lures, I had to go light and small: 1/32 -1/24 oz jigs and lures 2.5" or smaller. Here are a few that got slammed!:

decent crappie (at least for this lake):
Note: lure attached to the outside of the fish for my records and to display lures that caught fish.
79 fish from 10 am - 3 pm - not bad! If I didn't have fish in the live well to stock my pond with, I could have easily caught another 30.
