It's been about 3 months since we fished the backyard. So yesterday we finished spraying mesquite early and decided to see who's hungry. Of course the bass were the first to bite

Then after all the splashing from the bass a school of redear shows up and they are loving our jigs






This redear was super thick! She was either full of eggs or maybe just obese


We had a great hour of fishing the backyard

Side note: we have not fished the Rio hole since before chuck fished it last time he was at the ranch.
We're saving them for you Chuck

As the late and great Gomer Pyle would say. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME! You have the BEST FISHING in Texas right out your back yard. Why go anywhere else! As I have always said. You and Yesenia are living in God's Country!
