So I caught several good sized bass near the shoreline at Choke last weekend. I don't know if they were pre spawn, post spawn or in the process of spawning, but it was definitely the right time to catch them. I am wondering if the spawning timing varies much between lakes, or if it's all around the same time. I know that south Texas is a tad bit warmer than San Antonio and the hill country, so I am wondering if the great fishing down there last week will be here this week? Or does it differ for every lake? I am thinking of going to Boerne this Sunday morning just because it's a short drive and if the lake doesn't pan out I can head out to the Guadalupe river. I have no idea how the bass spawn works in rivers, or the timing, any suggestions?
